The 3 March 2026 edition of the ISC Weekly Newsletter highlights another vibrant week at the Innaloo Sports Club, packed with competition results, community spirit and exciting upcoming events.
Friday night’s Chase the Ace jackpot climbs to $1,100 after Jeremy missed the Ace of Spades, with the draw at 7pm. The Hundred Squares winners were Elena, Craig and Adam. Wednesday night poker continues strong, with the WA Poker League hosting Texas Hold’em from 6pm, $100 buy-in, no rebuys.
On the greens, championship action delivered thrilling finishes. Mark and John claimed the Men’s Pairs title 18–15 in a tense decider, while Mark Penswick and Glenda Cooper secured the Mixed Pairs Championship 18–14 after a dramatic comeback. The Men’s Singles Championship has advanced to the quarter finals, raising the stakes further. ISC also proudly hosted sections of the Bowls WA Men’s Country Week Pairs Championship and the annual Police v Scarborough bowls night, both outstanding successes.
Pennant results saw Division 3 narrowly fall 54–57 to North Beach, while Division 5 went down to Mt Lawley. Meanwhile, Innaloo 2 celebrated a superb 6–4 Grand Final darts victory over Johnny Foxes 3 at the Kingsley Tavern.
Monday trading has been extended (4–9pm) to support the new pool team, the Innaloo Pocket Plonkers, with Happy Hour now including Mondays. Entertainment continues with Kreativs Duo performing Sunday 8 March (4–7pm) in the Yabuka Beer Garden.
Community initiatives remain strong, with Adam Hutchinson undertaking a 96km walk supporting Soldiers On, while ongoing anonymous donations continue benefiting Grand Carers WA.
