Magnificent Week of Bowls, Darts and Club Spirit!
This week’s Newsletter focuses on a magnificent week of sports action at Innaloo Sports Club, highlighted by thrilling championship bowls and a nail-biting darts semi-final success.
Congratulations to Paul Walker, Kris Birch, John French and Robert Marlan on back-to-back glory in the Men’s Fours Championship, defending their title in style. Cathy French also delivered a composed performance to claim the Women’s Singles Championship, while Tim Edwards produced a remarkable comeback to win the Novice Final. Sectional play in the Men’s Singles is now underway, with quarterfinals set to begin on 6 March, and feature finals in the Men’s Pairs and Mixed Pairs drawing strong support.
On the darts board, Innaloo 2 held their nerve in a thrilling 6–5 semi-final win to secure a place in this week’s Grand Final at Kingsley Tavern, a fantastic achievement for the team. We wish them the very best!
There’s plenty more happening around the Club, including Poker every Wednesday, Zumba Tuesdays, Meat Pack Bowls, pool and darts competitions, Mahjong, social ping pong and live Premier League action.
