ISC Weekly Newsletter Vol29 – 22 July 2026

There’s another action-packed week ahead at Innaloo Sports Club, with great sport, exciting competitions and plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends!

Congratulations to our bowlers following a thrilling 37–27 Winter Pennants victory over North Beach, keeping Innaloo firmly on top of the ladder. The annual Past Presidents Bowl Day was another terrific celebration of bowls, friendly rivalry and Club tradition, with the Past Presidents securing a 124–91 victory.

Spain emerged 1–0 winner over Argentina in an exciting final, sealing the title after a high-quality contest played with intensity, skill and plenty of drama. The Club extends a very sincere thank you to all members and friends who turned out on so many occasions, often in the early hours of the morning, to enjoy the world’s biggest four-yearly football carnival, the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Our pool and darts teams also produced some outstanding performances. The Rebels powered to a huge 21–4 win, D3 and D4 celebrated strong victories, and the Pocket Plonkers held their nerve for a hard-fought 17–13 result. Pool enthusiasts should also mark Sunday, 2 August for PK’s Mixed Doubles Pool Competition, with prizes, friendly competition and plenty of fun.

Friday night is ready to sizzle! Chase the Ace has recently been won and has now restarted with a $500 jackpot. The prize will remain at $500 for one month before increasing by $100 every week until claimed. Come along, enjoy a drink and see whether your name is drawn at 7.00 pm!

You can also purchase a $2 raffle ticket for the chance to win $100, or try to correctly predict the points difference in the final AFL match of the week, three entries for $5.

Don’t forget the special meat-pack donation raffle, featuring two quality Borrello meat packs every Friday. Tickets are only $2 each or three for $5, with proceeds supporting important Club improvements.

The weekly calendar is packed with favourites, including Tuesday Zumba, Wednesday Mid-Week Bowls, WA Poker League games every Wednesday evening, Mahjong, social ping pong, line dancing, darts and pool competitions.

Catch Premier League football, AFL, rugby and more through the Club’s sports broadcasts, visit the TAB, renew your 2026–2027 membership at the bar and enjoy everything your Club has to offer.
