The Club is buzzing this week, with world-class sport, winning chances and friendly competition everywhere!
World Cup fever is roaring at Innaloo Sports Club, with the finals series being shown from the quarterfinals right through to the final. The semi-finals feature France v Spain and England v Argentina, followed by the final on Monday, 20 July at 3.00 am. Check the schedule on the noticeboard in the Bar area besides the toilets for confirmed opening times.
Friday night means prizes! Chase the Ace was recently won and was restarted with a fresh $500 jackpot. It remains at $500 for the first month, then jackpots by $100 every week until claimed. The draw is at 7.00 pm, could you find the Ace of Spades?
You can also buy a $2 ticket for the $100 raffle, enter the AFL last-match points-margin competition at three for $5, or support the special Meat Pack donation raffle, $2 a ticket or three for $5.
Congratulations to meat-pack winners Peter and Zoron, and $100 Hundred Squares winners Eric, Sonia and Adam! Innaloo defeated Quinns Rocks 38–30 to remain in the Winter Pennants title race, while the annual Innaloo versus Firies bowls day delivered great rivalry and camaraderie. Members also raised more than $500 this last week, plus pantry goods and toys, for Grandcarers WA, a brilliant community effort!
The weekly favourites keep rolling: Tuesday Zumba, Wednesday Mid-Week and Saturday Social Bowls, WA Poker League on Wednesday evenings, Mahjong, social ping pong, line dancing, darts and pool competitions. Catch sport across Stan and the Club screens, including Premier League, AFL and rugby action, visit the TAB, enjoy Friday Bistro favourites and discover plenty more around the Club.
