What a week at Innaloo Sports Club — the Club is buzzing!
World Cup fever has well and truly arrived, with members gathering to cheer on the Socceroos after Australia’s brilliant 2–0 win over Turkey. More big games are coming, and the Club has applied to show a series of FIFA World Cup matches outside normal trading hours. Check the schedule on the notice board in the Bar area near the toilets, register your interest through Humanitix, and help bring the big-screen atmosphere to life.
Chase the Ace delivered a huge moment last Friday, with Frank taking home the $2,500 jackpot. Congratulations, Frank! The fun now starts again, with a fresh $500 jackpot up for grabs this Friday. Come along, enjoy a drink, and see whether you are the next lucky winner. You can also grab a $2 raffle ticket for a chance to win $100, or try the AFL last-match points-difference competition — three entries for $5.
There is plenty happening around the Club this week, including WA Poker League games every Wednesday evening, Zumba Tuesdays, Mid-Week Bowls on Wednesdays, Mahjong, social ping pong, line dancing, pool and darts competitions, the TAB, Stan Sport, Premier League, AFL and Rugby action, plus Guinness now pouring on tap.
