There is plenty happening at Innaloo Sports Club this week, so grab your calendar, round up your mates and get involved!
Chase the Ace is still alive and has climbed to a cracking $2,400 after Adam missed the Ace of Spades last Friday. Be at the Club this Friday for the 7.00 pm draw and see if you are the one to take home the jackpot. Every drink purchased during entry times gets you into the draw. You can also grab a $2 raffle ticket for a shot at $100, or try the AFL last-game points difference, three entries for $5.
World Cup fever is building fast! The Club has applied to show selected FIFA World Cup matches outside normal trading hours, with options for early morning and late-night games. If 20 or more people want to watch a match, let the Club know. The proposed schedule is on the notice board near the Bar, adjacent to the toilets.
This week’s newsletter is packed with Club spirit: Trevor’s wonderful 80th birthday celebration, the Sunday Busy Bee, Grandcarers WA donations, Murray Ryan Winter League bowls action, Saturday pool going from strength to strength, darts results, fresh Friday Bistro flavours, Guinness on tap, and the upcoming 80s Quiz Night on 13 June as well as a special line dancing fundraising event on Saturday, 4 July 2026 for the Woodworth family, to help Jude with his special overseas cancer treatment.
Do not forget the regular favourites: Zumba Tuesdays, Mid-Week Bowls Wednesdays, Mahjong, social ping pong, line dancing, darts, pool competitions, WA Poker League every Wednesday evening, TAB facilities, plus Stan Sport action including Premier League, AFL and Rugby.
There is also entertainment on the way, with Mercury ready to rock the Club on Saturday 20 June.
