Chase the Ace is still alive and the jackpot has climbed to $2,300 after Rory missed the Ace of Spades last Friday. Come along this Friday for the 7pm draw and see whether you are the one to claim it! Friday night is also a great night to make an evening of it, with the Club Bistro kitchen open and meals available from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Come down early, enjoy dinner, grab a drink, enter Chase the Ace and settle in for a relaxed night at the Club. While you are here, grab a $2 raffle ticket for a chance to win $100, or test your AFL instincts in the last-match margin competition, with three entries for $5.
On the greens, unbeaten Innaloo continues to lead the Murray Ryan Series 1 Winter League after a strong 52–24 win over Doubleview. Friday Scroungers, Mid-Week Bowls Wednesdays, Barefoot Bowls, Lou’s bowls coaching and Chris’s Friday novice tips are also keeping the rinks busy.
Around the Club, PK’s Mixed Doubles Women on Cue Challenge was a huge success, with Sabrina and PK taking the title. Pool teams battled hard in Monday and Wednesday winter competition, while Thursday darts teams were on a bye due to the State Championship round.
Do not miss our regular favourites: Zumba Tuesdays, Mahjong Wednesdays and Fridays, WA Poker League every Wednesday evening, social ping pong Saturdays, line dancing, pool and darts competitions, plus Guinness now pouring on tap.
Catch Premier League, AFL, Rugby and more on Stan Sport, enjoy the TAB, and keep an eye on the Bar notice board near the toilets for the Club’s proposed FIFA World Cup out-of-hours broadcast schedule.
