It’s been another fantastic week at Innaloo Sports Club, with plenty happening across the Club and even more to look forward to. Read the latest stories in the attached newsletter.
Our Chase the Ace jackpot continues to grow, now at $1,400 after no winner last Friday. Join us this Friday night for your chance to win. Grab a $2 raffle ticket for a shot at $100, or try your luck in the AFL margin competition, 3 for $5.
Congratulations to Hazel and Val on their Women’s Pairs Grand Final victory, and to Cam Hoffman, crowned Men’s Singles Champion after a thrilling decider. It has also been a strong pennants season across all divisions, highlighted by our ‘Division 3’ team reaching the grand final. Well, done to all players and everyone involved.
In darts, it was a challenging start to the winter season, with mixed results across the teams and more than 18 players unavailable for selection, testing depth early in the competition.
The Club also came together in great spirit to support the Matildas, while Adam Hutchinson’s 96km Kokoda-inspired fundraising walk continues to gain momentum for a very worthy cause and Grand Carers WA got a big surprise when more anonymous donors came to the fore with increased donations.
Around the Club, there is something for everyone, including Zumba Tuesdays, Mid-Week Bowls Wednesdays, Mahjong on Wednesdays and Fridays, social ping pong on Saturdays, plus darts, pool competitions and Wednesday night poker. Catch all the live action with AFL, Premier League and rugby on the big screens, along with full TAB facilities.
Big weekend ahead. Get ready for a huge night this Saturday, 28 March, as Dr Soul’s Motown Night brings the dancefloor to life. Then ease into Sunday with live music from Kreativs Duo, in the Yabuka Beer Garden from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Make a night of it. Our kitchen will be serving a delicious dinner menu from 6 pm on Saturday evening, so come early, grab a meal, and settle in for an unforgettable evening.
We look forward to seeing you at the Club.
