There’s another action-packed week ahead at Innaloo Sports Club, and plenty to celebrate!
Chase the Ace is still alive! Lee-Anne selected the Jack of Clubs last Friday, leaving the Ace of Spades hidden and the jackpot climbing to a cracking $800. Join us this Friday for the 7.00 pm draw and see whether you’re the lucky one! If there’s no winner, another $100 will be added next week.
While you’re at the Club, grab a $2 raffle ticket for the chance to win $100, or test your footy judgement in the AFL final-match points-difference competition — three entries for $5.
On the greens, Innaloo is flying! The Ladies’ Winter Carnival team scored a strong 35–28 win over Dalkeith, while Innaloo held on by a single point to claim the Murray Ryan Series 2 Winter League Championship. Congratulations to everyone involved!
The pool room was buzzing too, with 56 players turning out for Saturday’s 8-ball competition, while Bec and Jeremy claimed top honours in PK’s Mixed Doubles. Our darts teams also delivered three excellent Thursday-night victories.
A special shout-out goes to junior bowler Jack Newton, selected to represent WA for an amazing third time. Save the date for the Junior Bowler Support Day on Sunday, 30 August, from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
There’s something happening almost every day: Zumba Tuesdays, Mid-Week Bowls Wednesdays, WA Poker League every Wednesday evening, Mahjong, social ping pong, line dancing, darts and pool competitions, Friday Scroungers and barefoot bowls.
Catch Premier League, AFL and rugby action on Stan Sport, check the TAB, enjoy a Guinness or Carlton Draft, and settle in for Friday Bistro favourites.
