There is plenty to enjoy at Innaloo Sports Club, with upcoming events taking centre stage. Red Hot Baine-Maries bring Tasty Rock Hits to the Club on Saturday, 2 May 2026 at 7.00 pm, followed by Earl Cole returning on Sunday, 4 May 2026 from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm for a Sunday Session packed with 60s, 70s and 80s favourites. Then, on Sunday, 10 May at 11.00 am, members and friends can celebrate Mother’s Day with High Tea, champers, petite treats and door prizes.
The Club also proudly honoured ANZAC Day on Saturday, 25 April, with members and friends gathering in reflection and mateship. John French raised the flag, the National Anthem was observed, and the morning continued with fellowship, a sausage sizzle, open bar and Pop Sticks Bowls.
Bowls activity remains strong across the Club. Scroungers, continues every Friday morning, offering bowling members a relaxed and friendly way to enjoy the game. The Murray Ryan Evening Winter Bowls competition begins Tuesday, 5 May, bringing off-season competition under lights, while the 2026 Winter Bowling Carnival is also underway. Members can also roll up and learn with Lou, with new Thursday coaching sessions starting in May.
Innaloo was also proud to host the Bowls WA Champion of Champion Singles Finals, showcasing the Club’s undercover facilities and welcoming players, officials and supporters.
A major Club improvement has also been completed, with a new concrete path improving safety and accessibility near the eastern side of the building. Sincere thanks go to Cadlow’s Concrete Solutions, who generously charged only for materials, and to the volunteers who helped make the upgrade possible.
Chase the Ace is still alive after Malcolm missed the Ace of Spades, which means the jackpot climbs to a cracking $1,900. Be here Friday for the 7.00 pm draw. Every drink purchased during entry times puts you in the running, so come along and see if you are the one to claim the jackpot.
You can also grab a $2 raffle ticket for a chance to win $100 or try the AFL last-match points-difference challenge, with three entries for $5.
The week is packed with Club favourites: Line dancing has new beginners classes and day-time changes, Zumba Tuesdays, Mid-Week Bowls Wednesdays, Mahjong, social ping pong, Thursday darts and Monday and Wednesday pool competitions, Friday Scroungers, Winter Bowls and Barefoot Bowls, and come along and join in our regular WA Poker League games every Wednesday evening. Also, our community support for Grandcarers WA continues to grow, buy and taste our homemade treasures, and read about the latest membership news and more.
Sports fans are covered too, with Stan showing Premier League, AFL, Rugby and plenty more big-screen action, plus the TAB open and ready.
