ISC Weekly Newsletter Vol04 – 27 January 2026

This week’s ISC Newsletter is packed with action as we head into February with exciting events, community celebrations, and important updates you won’t want to miss.

Our Australia Day celebrations were a wonderful success, bringing members, families and guests together for a relaxed and vibrant day. Despite some wild weather, spirits stayed high with live music, family activities, raffles generously supported by Councillor Elizabeth Re, and great food and drinks enjoyed throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable occasion.

Looking ahead, footy fans won’t want to miss A Night with Zach Merrett – Live & Uncensored on Friday 13 February. This special one-night event features AFL insights, candid stories, audience Q&A, and exclusive Essendon memorabilia, with optional photo experiences available. Limited member tickets apply.

Our popular Chase the Ace jackpots to $600, while weekly activities continue with Zumba, Meat Pack Bowls, pool, darts, Mahjong, social ping pong and live football on the big screens. We’re also trialling Monday night opening hours from 2 February.

Entries are now open for the Club Men’s Singles Bowls Championship, with round-robin play leading into knockout finals—members are encouraged to get involved.

Community support remains central to the Club, with ongoing fundraising for Grand Carers WA through homemade jams and condiments donated by member Myra Solomon.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Club soon.
