There’s plenty happening at Innaloo Sports Club this week — on the greens, around the tables, at the dartboards and across the big screens!
Bowls delivered one of the biggest cheers, with Innaloo storming back from 10 shots down to defeat Scarborough 38–28 in the opening round of Series 3 Winter Pennants. The Ladies’ Winter Carnival rolled on too, and this Friday brings the final Scroungers game of the season.
Saturday’s 8-ball competition drew a fantastic 56 players, while darts produced two emphatic 9–2 Innaloo wins and our pool teams battled through several close contests.
Save Sunday 30 August for Junior Bowler Support Day, backing Jack Newton as he prepares to represent WA for the third time. Enjoy bowls, coaching, a sausage sizzle and raffles from 1–5pm, with entry just $10. At the same time visit the GrandcarersWA Fete to be held on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, from 11am–4pm at the Club. Discover beautiful creations, meet local makers and help change lives, one stitch, one hug and one thoughtful purchase at a time in our local community. Every purchase supports grandcarers raising their grandchildren.
Our weekly favourites keep rolling: Zumba Tuesdays, Mid-Week Bowls Wednesdays, WA Poker League every Wednesday evening, Mahjong Wednesdays and Fridays, social ping pong Saturdays, line dancing, darts and pool competitions, plus plenty more.
Catch Stan Sport and other broadcasts featuring Premier League, AFL and Rugby action, enjoy the TAB, and settle in with friends for a great sporting atmosphere.
Friday night means Chase the Ace! Last week’s jackpot wasn’t won, so there’s a new $900 jackpot up for grabs, climbing by $100 each week if there’s no winner. Grab a $2 raffle ticket for a chance to win $100, or try the AFL final-match points-difference competition at 3 for $5.
Membership renewals are overdue, with unrenewed memberships due to be cancelled after 31 August, so please renew at the Bar.
